Starting off

The first World Cup will begin shortly following the end of player sign ups. Once we have all 1600 players The Commishes will begin analyzing the owner submissions and 12 will be selected to own teams based on their applications. The best 12 not selected for ownership spots will be put in the GM pool. The 12 selected for the pool will be put in random order for country selection. Once the order is determined I will contact all prospective GMs in order until all countries have GMs. Once you have a country its your job to select 30 players of the nationality that you control for the roster as well as making line-ups and setting the rotation. For the first world cup the winning GM will be awarded the 16th ownership position. All other GMs will go back into the coaches pool. All following World Cups will take place every other offseason.

What a GM Does

Owners aren't eligible to be GMs, only prospective coaches are able to apply. Down the road if more GMs are needed than the number of active coaches we have then owners may be selected.
GMs are required to:

If a GM doesnt fulfill his duties in a timely manner he will be replaced.

The Competition

There will be 12 teams in each competition, Australia, Canada, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, England, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Korea, USA, and Venezuela. There will be a week before the Cup for GMs to set up their teams. The 12 teams will be split up into two conferences of six and within those conferences, two divisions of three. Each team will play the other five teams in its conference twice. One series of three games at home and one series of three games away; totaling 30 games. The winner of each division moves on to the playoffs, where the division winners of each conference play each other in a best of 5 series. The winners of the semifinals move on to the World Championship Series which will be best of 7 to crown the World Champ. For each World Cup teams will be grouped differently.
