Two games were postponed on Friday. Baltimore became the first team in 30 years to be postponed when visting the Twins early in the day and the game is scheduled to be made up Saturday as the night game of a doubleheader. The other postponement wasn't as clear cut. After putting up 13 runs in four innings, the Tigers visit to the Indians was called off due to weather after a delay of over two hours. Unfortunately, a make-up date wasn't immediately announced and could either be scheduled for Sunday, during a series immediately after the all-star break or during the next to last series of the year. If a game is delayed without a make-up date, it will be set in the system to be played on October 4th (the day after the last day of the season) until a date is named. If the game isn't scheduled and completed within three days of it's original date anyone who hasn't fixed their pick will be credited with a "PPD Expire" and be scored for the day as if it were an incorrect pick outright. Use the "Change Postponed Pick" link to edit your pick as desired. Any problems experienced last night should be fixed now. |
