Interleague play begins on Friday in week 7 and as a result there is a higher amount of DMUs than normal with five of seven days also featuring DMUs. Part of the cause is the fact that all 30 teams are scheduled to play all seven days of the week with the rest simply being strong projected rivalry matchups. Monday gets things off fast and furious with five DMUs before Tuesday has a single, "bridge", DMU game featuring Josh Beckett and the Red Sox up against Javier Vazquez and the Yankees. Biggest rivals in the sport with two equally struggling pitchers. Could be fun. Wednesday picks things back up with three more DMUs, including the third Yankees DMU in a row. Thursday gives you a day off before five games on Friday with the debut of interleague play, including the Nationals first DMU of the season (the last team to be placed in a DMU after the Astros get one Monday). The week then finishes up with four strong projected matchups and the first Subway Series finale. Week 7 DMU Games: May 17th KC @ BAL BOS @ NYY LAA @ TEX SF @ SD HOU @ LAD May 18th BOS @ NYY May 19th BOS @ NYY LAA @ CWS SD @ LAD May 21st CIN @ CLE BOS @ PHI BAL @ WAS NYY @ NYM LAA @ STL May 23rd LAA @ STL SF @ OAK SD @ SEA NYY @ NYM As always, choose wisely. |
