The 2010 MLB season is nearly 60 hours away. I'm looking forward to it.
Prior to now, the game rules stated that if the participants list reached 45 members I would bump up the playoff qualifiers from 20 to 25. As there are current 61 registered members, it's official.
The top 20 regular season finishers will automatically qualify for the postseason. For each member that wins a month and finishes in the top 20 overall for the regular season, another member will qualify, potentially up to the 25th place member.
The point bonuses for each round will remain the same as they were set for a 20 person postseason. The top 15 from the regular season will at least earn one extra point for the first round of the playoffs. |
