First, my apologies for the delay. With my semester starting, fall games starting, the message board going down and the need to make sure the playoffs were being scored correctly, I had to push this back a bit.
The month was as anticlimactic as any this season with Corey Beaudoin running away with August. With two DMUs in the final three games of a ten game streak, he created a bunch of separation over everyone while capping things off with an eight game streak to the 27th. Only three other members had 20 or more points while just 12 had a double digit point total and only 18 were in the positives. It was a rather poor way to end the regular season for nearly everyone.
Strangely, Beaudoin only had the best record for the month (23-8) by a single game over Kevin Cheek, despite scoring 22 more points. Gianfranco Lintas was the only member to have a perfect DMU record (5-0) and pick more than three games for the extra bonus point. Nathan Susanto outdid Beaudoin with an 11 game streak for the longest of the month. The number of bonus points earned this month for each member are now updated on the Bonus Points (2010-2011) thread, the running bonus points standings for the season. |
