Three games were postponed from Sunday's slate. Two are indefinite with one having a make-up date in September.
Tampa's contest in Yankee Stadium and the Nationals' game at Philadelphia were both called off before a pitch was thrown. The AL East matchup doesn't have a make-up date set while the NL East game is set to be made up as part of the doubleheader on the September 20th; because that's more than three days in advance, it will be shown as an indefinite suspension in the game until the three days pass to allow for the 22 members that picked the game to "Change their Postponed Pick" before it's calculated as an automatic loss.
The final postponed game made it to the third inning before being indefinitely put off. Cleveland will now have to host Minnesota amongst already having three make up games scheduled between August 23rd and the end of the season.
In total, 27 picks from Sunday will have to be remade. Philadelphia had 22 selections, the Yankees had three and Cleveland had two. Only 20 picks survived the day. |
