Just three days and two games remain in the regular season. Michael Lytle holds the final playoff position at nine points, four more than Andrew Reynolds. Mark Yothers, David Cords & Larry Hughes are four points back of Andrew Reynolds with Nathan Susanto likely the last member with a realistic chance at qualification on negative one point. Further up the standings, don't forget that your final regular season placement leads to extra points in the first round of the playoffs for those in the top 15 as well as the second round for those in the top five and even third round points for those in the top three. Even within those groupings, the better your placement the more points you can get. As for the final DMUs, there are five DMU games on the final two days of the regular season with Monday having none. The Yankees travel to Boston on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unfortunately as I type this, CC Sabathia is paired against John Lackey and Phil Hughes is paired with Josh Beckett, instead of the other way around. Final DMU Games: August 30th TB @ TEX STL @ MIL SD @ LAD August 31st SD @ LAD STL @ MIL |
