| Latest ASFL2 News: | Fantasy Basketball was put up by Yahoo! three or four days ago and I've had to put things together as quickly as possible. I had hoped to send out this email a night or two ago, but I've come down with some form of virus or cold and the end of the school week is always busy for me. There will be 7 leagues to start with, which should be a conservative estimate of the amount needed. Please reply as soon as possible to guarantee the time you prefer or even a spot. If the responses are quick enough I will add an 8th league. The first draft is 23 days from now, meaning I need everyone's preferences very quickly. The draft times to choose from: Tuesday 10/21 at 10:00 PM EST Wednesday 10/22 at 8:30 PM EST Thursday 10/23 at 7:30 PM EST Friday 10/24 at 11:00 PM EST Saturday 10/25 at 7:15 PM EST Sunday 10/26 at 6:30 PM EST and an autopick. Please post your preferences in this thread on the message board (I'd like at least 3 times, unless you simply cant make that many). If you can't reply, please email me as soon as possible. I hope to send out league designations in a week or less, please keep checking your email for them. If you are designated a league and do not join it before the draft, or have to be replaced, you will be deducted points. It makes my job easier if you join the designated league as quickly as possible. If you don't intend to participate in Fantasy Basketball you'll need to inform me or you will be deducted points. NHL Standings Pickem entries are due this Saturday, October 4th at noon EST. Please get them in as soon as possible so you have a better chance of correcting any errors. Please make sure to follow the requirements for the entry in regards to team records. MLB Playoffs Pickem has been posted on the message board. Picks are due by noon EST on Wednesday (10/1). There are instructions on how to handle the indefinite playoff matchups at this point. NBA Standings Pickem will be posted on the message board in the Non-Yahoo Games section in the next week, the link will be put on the front page of the website. The NBA season starts October 28th, the deadline for entries will be at 7 PM EST that day. |
Fantasy Golf and Fantasy Baseball finish today. Ideally they would be updated by Monday night, but because I'm sick it'll likely take me a couple days (hopefully not more) longer than normal. Fantasy Golf's final game standings should be known Sunday night, while Fantasy Baseball champions won't be known until Monday. I hope to have Fantasy NASCAR and Fantasy Golf week win and tournament/race win points updated by the time I go to sleep Sunday night; if there aren't many who pick the winner of the tournament and race I may be able to finish off adding the points for Fantasy Golf's final standings as well. I'll begin working on Fantasy Baseball as soon as I'm done with those two sports. NFL Pickem points, Salary Cap Football, and Fantasy Premier League points will be updated somewhere in between hopefully. The extra point scoring methods have been determined for Fantasy Baseball and have been announced on the Fantasy Baseball thread on the message board. Please check the respective game threads for each sport on the message board for updates. MLB Standings Pickem won't be finalized until after the MLB playoffs have finished.
