Once again, Lewis Hamilton set the quickest time in FP1, this time in Bahrain. The McLaren driver was nearly a third of a second faster than Sebastian Vettel, who in turn was just over a quarter of a second faster than Paul di Resta, who set his time on the softer tyre. Chinese GP winner Nico Rosberg was next on the list with Jenson Button seven tenths slower than his McLaren teammate.

Nico Rosberg was fastest in FP2, heading the Red Bulls of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel. Lewis Hamilton backed up his FP1 performance by setting the fourth best mark, just ahead of Michael Schumacher. Force India decided not to run at all in FP2 because they wanted to leave the venue early after four of their mechanics were caught up in a petrol bomb incident yesterday. However, they said they compensated by running longer than usual in FP1 - Paul di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg both completed 26 laps - and they will undergo a full programme in FP3 tomorrow before qualifying.

I've changed the results links in the above post because the F1.com website has been down/difficult to access due to a DDOS attack by "Anonymous". F1-racers.net has also been targeted.
