After a two year hiatus, CFL Pickem is back. Its scoring format mirrors NFL Pickem's exactly with the only differences between the games mirror those between the NFL & CFL. I recommend reading the introduction on the game's rules page if you're not familiar with the CFL.

Please let me know of any mistakes or anything that needs clarification on the rules page or from the game otherwise. I'm hoping to set things up behind the scenes to automatically update scores and other information, but I'm also in the marker for a volunteer or two to help update scores and any schedule changes in the mean time.

The season starts next Thursday (June 25th) at 7:30 PM ET. Those in the US can watch all games via ESPN 3 if you have access. For a look at the differences between American & Canadian football, check this wikipedia entry. For more on the league in general, check its website.

Semi-live scoring in the same fashion as MLB Day-to-Day Pickem should be good to go this weekend. I'm going to verify Thursday and Friday, if you notice any problems, please let me know.

I believe I set things to not calculate game scoring until after a game is final, but I may test that not being the case in week 3 if I can't this weekend around the holiday.

The only known complication right now is I have no idea how the system is going to handle OT games until one happens.

When I review my picks, it does not show the actual score from the game, just my prediction and the score I got for the game.

That was a byproduct of changing some formatting to allow for the score updates. I should have just fixed the issue.

    This is fixed now.

Congrats to Steve Steffy on the game win and to Chris Wanned's runner-up finish keeping Steffy's victory from being convincing.
