 With the Bruins win on Monday night, the 2010-2011 ASFL2 season will finish on Wednesday night in Vancouver with game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals after over 17 months of competition. The final bonus point totals have been determined in advance for each member. If you believe I've left something out or otherwise made a mistake, you have until 11:59 PM ET Wednesday night to notify me of the error. This link has the final standings with running explanations for points given throughout the thread. With the standings set, I can congratulate the 14 qualifiers for the 2011-2012 ASASFL Third League: Jay Soester Mike Miles Anders Nilsson Brad Wilson Aaron Freeman Nathan Susanto Jason Oroszi John Wright David Synychak Kraig Monkman Chad Gumm Kevin Whorton Corey Beaudoin Dave Berrong The final points scored were determined after calculating the post counts from the end of the previous message board. This is the final time I'll have to manually calculate post counts. With the message board now on the website, I'll be able to set up the message board's database to allow for a running, yearly post count and time logged in standings on the message board member stats page. I also plan to score members based on their full post count from the first January to the second June each season, instead of from June to June. Currently, I plan to keep both post count and time logged in as separate bonus point additions going forward with a maximum of 12 points for each. With the possibility of the bonus point percentage going up should there not be an NBA or NFL season, the maximum bonus point total for the two categories may be increased. The 2010-2011 ASFL2 Championship projects to factor in 78 or 79 bonus points. The final number won't be determined until the Stanley Cup is won. |
