Super League:
Nick Hall won the third edition of the Super League thanks to his clean sweep of Fantasy Baseball. He came into the final game in third place, five points behind both Dan Haak and Matt Humpal, but ended up with 250 points, 13 more than Humpal in second place. Tyson Hester rounded out the podium thanks to having performed second best in Fantasy Baseball. He jumped up to 226 points from a tie for fourth place before the game. Doug Eden jumped from seventh place to fourth place while Dan Haak's second worst score in Fantasy Baseball dropped him to fifth place.
Third League:
Dave Berrong overcame the biggest deficit before the final game this season to win the Third League. He trailed Nathan Susanto 206-183 before sweeping the regular season of Fantasy Baseball and winding up with 265 points. Brad Wilson was in fourth place, 28 points behind Berrong and 51 behind the leader heading into Fantasy Baseball, but finished in a distant second with 234 points, scoring three less than Berrong for Fantasy Baseball. Aaron Freeman was third, a point behind Berrong, before the final game and finished third after it with 226 points. Nathan Susanto fell to fourth, with 224 points, after the final game from the lead before it. Anders Nilsson rounded out the top five before and after the final game.
Hopefully the ASASFL leagues return sooner than later, but congrats to those who earned endearing bragging rights.

Inaugural ASASFL Champions Determined |
6:01 PM ET on 9/6/10 by Jay Soester |
Unfortunately, with only 10 points to be gained in the playoffs, all three championships have been clinched. Congratulations to the inaugural champions:
Champions League: Jay Soester
Super League: Ben True
Third League: Anders Nilsson
There aren't many items to look at going into the playoffs, but you can find a few. In the Champions League, third place is still up for grabs between Anders Nilsson & Brad Wilson. In the Super League, second place is still up for grabs between Greg Krause & David Synychak and Nick Hall & Stephen Schulte will be facing each other in the first round to determine who finishes fifth for entire the competition. In the Third League, second through fifth could change hands depending on the playoffs.
