Ties are broken as follows:

1) Highest point total in most recent round.
1a) Highest point total in championship.
1b) Highest point total in final four.
1c) Highest point total in elite eight.
1d) Highest point total in sweet sixteen.
1e) Highest point total in second round.
2) Person who picked the champion to go farthest.
3) Person who picked the runner-up to go farthest.
4) Person who's picked champion advanced the farthest.
5) Person who's picked runner-up advanced the farthest.
6) Comparison of latest incorrect pick.
6a) If the tied members pick one of the finalists correctly, the person whose incorrect championship game team went farthest in the tournament is given the advantage.
6b) If it is the same team or the two teams are knocked out in the same round the next round is analyzed and so on.
6c) If the tied members pick more than one team wrong in the deepest round the members have a correct pick the same process will be used with aggregate results used.
7) Bonus Point Total.
