ASFL2 Rules
Introduction
The ASFL2 stands for All-Sports Fantasy League. The "2" is added to differentiate from the first league featured on this site, the American Simulation Football League, which is no longer running in a public fashion. The ASFL2 is run through yahoo.com's fantasy sports games and through the league message board section. All that is required to join is that you have a valid yahoo ID and properly fill out the Sign Up form.
How It Works
The ASFL2 allows its members to compete year-round in 12 different yahoo fantasy games as well as other pickem games which will be run on the league message board. The goal of each member is to score as many championship points as possible by performing well in each game.
The games hosted by yahoo are:
- Fantasy Baseball
- Fantasy Basketball
- College Football Pickem
- Fantasy Football
- Fantasy Golf
- Fantasy Hockey
- Fantasy NASCAR
- NCAA Tournament Pickem
- NFL Pickem
- NFL Survival Pickem
- Fantasy Premier League (Yahoo!UK)
- Salary Cap Football
Other Games to be featured on the message board:
- Fantasy NFL Playoffs
- College Bowl Pickem
- MLB Playoffs Pickem
- MLB Standings Pickem
- NBA Playoffs Pickem

The games are subject to change and may be altered or dropped at any point, usually with warning. Games are separated into tiers based on quality. The higher the tier, the more points the games are typically worth. You can click each sport to read the rules and scoring.
The Five Tiers:
Tier 1
Tier 2
Tier 3
Tier 4
Tier 5
Aside from the overall points competition, members are broken down by region into conferences to give members another championship to win. If a particular conference is larger than others it may be broken up into divisions as another level of accomplishment.
If you're sick of seeing the fantasy leagues you join feature 50% inactivity by midseason, this is the league for you. Teams on the bottom can still earn points by moving up the league standings and improving other peripheral stats, giving them plenty motivation to keep playing. Aside from the overall championship, there will be conference championships, with conferences made up of people from the same regions for added reason to try to improve your point total. If you still feel you're too far out of things to matter, or if you join late in the season, each person's point total at the end of the year will be used to seed that person in leagues for the next year's games.
There is no limit on the number of people that can join. Draft-oriented leagues will be capped at 12-14 per league, with more than one ASFL2 league going on at a time. Assistant commissioner's will be responsible for keeping order in leagues the commissioner isn't in, they will use yahoo IDs that the commissioner will have access to, so that he can verify scoring and help decide on unfair trades.

Reasons for Removal
Members may be removed from the league for collusion, abbrasiveness (or general discourse created amongst other members as a result of a particular member) or inactivity. A member isn't required to participate in every game the league offers, but are strongly encouraged to be active on the league's sports talk message board as its also used to give out information to members.
You are also not allowed to spam your own leagues. With the number of people here, I can't allow advertising- if one can do it, I'd have to let all do it, and that would lead to chaos. Anyone found advertising will be warned, If theres still activity from there, they will be removed.
