Fantasy Golf is run through Yahoo! with members choosing eight players each week from three different pools of players. The pools are labelled "A", predominantly the best golfers in the world; "B", golfers a step down; and "C", golfers playing primarily in Europe and/or a step down from the previous pool. Each week you must select two golfers from pools "A" and "C" as well as four golfers from pool "B". Each round you'll have one pool "A" golfer active, two pool "B" golfers active and one pool "C" golfer active. Every time you use a golfer for a round of a tournament you lose one of your allotted ten starts for said golfer on the season.
Fantasy Golf groups on Yahoo! can have a maximum of 50 participants. The league will create multiple groups each season with the overall standings between the groups available on the ASFL2 website. The number of groups determines the number of week wins each season. The overall standings between the groups are used to determine the week wins for each week. |
