Fantasy NASCAR is run through Yahoo! with members choosing eight drivers each week from three different pools of players. The pools are labelled "A", the best drivers in NASCAR; "B", drivers a step down from the best; and "C", usually the lower level drivers in the field. Each week you must select two drivers from pools "A" and "C" as well as four drivers from pool "B". All eight drivers can earn you points from their qualifying placement, but for the race you'll have one pool "A" driver active, two pool "B" drivers active and one pool "C" driver active. Every time you a driver for a race you lose one of your allotted nine starts for the driver on the season.
Fantasy NASCAR groups on Yahoo! can have a maximum of 50 participants. ASFL2 will create multiple groups each season with the overall standings between the groups available on the ASFL2 website. The number of groups determines the number of week wins each season. The overall standings between the groups are used to determine the week wins for each week. |
