Given the busy fall, I was wondering what the league at large was most looking forward to?

  • The MLB Playoffs
  • The NFL Season
  • The College Football Season
  • The NHL Season
  • The NASCAR Chase for the Cup

CFB Start: September 1st
NFL Start: September 8th
Chase Start: September 18th
MLB Playoffs: October 1st
NHL Start: October 6th

With college football underway and the NFL season just four days away, the busy fall season is finally here. Your can place your vote here.

Fantasy Premier League Final Results
3:24 AM ET on 5/24/11 by Jay Soester
The marathon is over. The Premier League season began on August 14th, 2010 and ended on May 22nd. That's 282 days. That's one day longer than NASCAR's 2010 season from February 14th to November 21st. Fantasy Premier League also has the distinction of having the most game weeks at 38, one more than Fantasy Golf, and two more than Fantasy NASCAR.

John Wright won the marathon this year, breaking the run of Ryan Drizk who won the first two editions of the game. He finished second last season at 3719.5 points, but won this season on 3593.5 points. Just like last season, Jay Soester and Mike Miles finished directly behind him, this year that translated into second and third.

Bad Luck Feat of the Week
3:42 AM ET on 5/16/11 by Jay Soester
It was a low scoring weekend in both Fantasy Golf and Fantasy NASCAR. Plenty of bad luck went around, particularly with NASCAR, but Tim Quinley found bad luck despite success.

Both games saw a tiebreaker needed to determine the final week winners this week with Quinley being involved in both tiebreakers. First, he came in fourth in a five-way tiebreaker for the final two week wins in Fantasy NASCAR. Then he lost out in a head-to-head tiebreaker for the final week win in Fantasy Golf, thanks in part to a second round withdraw that kept him to six on his roster that made the cut instead of the seven he needed to win the tiebreaker. Don't feel too bad, he's currently 31st overall and projects to 16th overall based on the standings of all games running or finished so far this season.

This week was the fifth time this season a tiebreaker has been needed in both Fantasy Golf and Fantasy NASCAR.
