NASL Pickem is now available. Play for free.
What?
I'm sure the majority of you that frequent this website immediately thought, "What the hell is the NASL?". The North American Soccer League is the second division of soccer in North America and a reincarnation of the famous league from the 70s and early 80s of the same name. I'm a season ticket holder for one of the eleven teams and follow it closely. All of the leagues' games will be broadcast online via ESPN3 this season.
Why?
There is no pickem or fantasy game for the league anywhere on the internet. I frequent the subreddit for the league and put out a feeler for a potential game that received enough positive feedback to motivate me to re-purpose the code from Premier League Pickem to create NASL Pickem with an extra feature or two.

| Money Leagues Fantasy Baseball Results |

The results for all four 2011 ASFL2 Money Leagues Fantasy Baseball Leagues are now updated on the website. Congrats to all money winners. Ten members between the four leagues earned money based on their performance. I've already sent winnings to those who gave me their payment preference to this point. If you're owed winnings, please email me with your preferred method and address for reimbursement. I won't send anything until hearing from winners to avoid any potential losses.
Once my PayPal account runs dry, those who haven't received their winnings will have to wait a week as I transfer the funds from my bank account. I apologize for the delays, unfortunately the circumstances were out of my control.

The draft results for League 1 have been entered into Yahoo. Due to the short time frame before the start of the season, I've decided to set default rosters for each team. Please let me know if I've made any mistakes entering the draft results.
Thanks to everyone for handling the time limit changes, I strive to avoid them, but given the late start and high number of teams it was unavoidable unless I shrunk the time frame for the earlier picks that shape a roster.

| League #1 Draft Time Limits Altered |

Eight full rounds and another six picks remain in the League 1 draft with four days remaining to make the picks. That works out to over 1.5 picks per hour to finish the draft before the results need to be entered into Yahoo!. With that in mind, the time limit for all picks during the rest of the draft will be two hours with 2 AM ET to 7 AM ET still excluded. I'm hopeful this will allow less than 20 picks to remain for Wednesday, if that's not the case, watch for another email Tuesday night about time limits having to change for the final day to make sure results can be entered in time.

| League #1 Draft Time Limits Altered |

The League 1 Draft is almost ten rounds old. It started ten days ago. There are eleven rounds left before the results need to be entered into Yahoo!, next Wednesday.
With the math that far off, I've had to shrink the time limits for each pick to three hours, starting with round 11. The excluded hours will be from 2 AM ET to 7 AM ET through the end of the draft as well.
To help move things along, please utilize the list features we offer. At this point in the draft, we’re at the point where picks should start being based on positional needs. That should make leave a list that much simpler. If you know what position you want to take and your pick is coming up, leave the players at that position on your list for the current round and let the system do the work for you. If you have any questions about leaving a list, feel free to email me for help or consult the draft guide.

The draft order and participant roster for League #1 are set. The draft will begin at midnight ET on Saturday (less than 24 hours away). The above image is of the random numbers produced to determine the order. Members were numbered alphabetically by first name. Numbers are read from left to right.
A reminder was just sent to all participants. If you have any questions about the draft system, feel free to email me, consult the draft guide or use the test draft. This will be the first draft in ASFL2 history to use the ASFL2 drafts application with less than 12 participants. I'm hopeful that having just eight members drafting will allow the draft to be completed in the allotted 11 days. Please use the draft's list features to help ensure the draft is finished before the MLB season starts, if I sense we're cutting it close, I'll have to shrink the time deadlines. Watch this page and your inbox throughout the draft for updates.
